Com 20 anos de experiência no mercado de TIC, Gabriel Coimbra é Group Vice President da IDC e responsável pelas operações da IDC em Portugal, a empresa líder mundial na área de market intelligence, serviços de advisory e organização de eventos para os mercados das Tecnologias de Informação, Telecomunicações e Eletrónica de Consumo. Para além das atividades de gestão, Gabriel Coimbra está directamente envolvido na conceção e coordenação dos vários estudos e serviços de advisory que a IDC desenvolve em Portugal, contribui também em diversos projetos de consultoria e advisory da IDC em Portugal. Per Melker
Per Melker brings more than 20 years’ experience of proven leadership, successful sales management and a history of delivering on business objectives to his role as Group Vice President and General Manager for IDC’s IT Executive Programs & CIO Executive Council.
IDC’s IT Executive Program makes it easy for IT Executives to access the relevant technology research and advice needed to make data-driven decisions as they lead their organization into the digital future. Roberta Bigliani
Roberta Bigliani is vice president of IDC Energy Insights, IDC Financial Insights, IDC Government Insights, IDC Health Insights, IDC Manufacturing Insights, and IDC Retail Insights in Europe. In her role she offers strategic direction and advice to both vendors and end-user clients. She joined IDC in 2007 to create the European Energy business unit, and is now responsible for research-based advisory and consulting services across all industries. In 2017 she created the IDC Future of Work practice, for which she remains the executive sponsor for Europe. Her main areas of expertise include business and IT issues relevant to utilities and oil and gas companies, as well as digital transformation, the future of work, customer experience, and IT and operational technology integration. She is based in the IDC Italy office in Milan.
Robert Parker
Bob Parker is a Senior Vice President responsible for several areas of research at IDC. Bob leads the global industry research teams which includes coverage of healthcare, government, retail, energy, manufacturing, and financial services as well as a cross industry group looking at emerging topics such as blockchain and robotics. Additionally, Bob leads our teams in the enterprise applications space, services, and the IDC coverage of data intelligence which includes coverage of artificial intelligence.

For the previous 9 years was Board Member at PT COMPRAS Negotiation Services SA. – the central procurement shared services company for PORTUGAL TELECOM (PT) group. Having led several areas including the Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation of the PT in all major purchasing categories, namely, Telecommunication Systems, Information Systems, Terminal Equipment, Home Equipment networking, Corporate Solutions for Business Customers. It was also in charge of the Process, Quality & Continuous Improvement and International Sourcing.
In PORTUGAL TELECOM since 2000, previously had several responsibilities in the Information Systems area in the Wireline Business Unit – PT COMUNICAÇÕES and in the Negotiation and Procurement area in the Media Business Unit – PT MULTIMEDIA.
Started his career as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting from Assistant Consultant to Manager. And after that joined Deloitte Consulting in Portugal as a Manager.
Has a Business Degree in Management (1993) and Master´s in Management and Industrial Strategy (1996) by ISEG – UTL – Lisbon University. Attended several training courses in the area of Leadership and Management, Negotiation and Information Systems among which the “Telecommunications Strategy & Marketing” at INSEAD, the “Program on Negotiation” at Harvard Law School and the “Business Dynamics” of MIT – Sloan Management School.
Is currently a guest lecturer at Porto Business School, University of Porto, in the following areas: Purchasing Management on the Executive MBA and on the Purchasing Management Post-Graduate; Sourcing on the Project Management Post-Graduate; Information Systems on the Purchasing Management Course.

José Ferrari Careto
Holds an economics degree from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He has been working for utilities or utilities regulators since 1986. He participated in several start-ups and in various public tenders to obtain telecommunications licenses (among them a GSM license and a UMTS license). Served as Board Member at Anacom, the Portuguese regulator, between 2006 and 2012. Is currently Board Member at EDP Comercial.

Marta Muñoz Méndez-Villamil
Marta has more than 18 years experience advising IT vendors and end-users on their market strategy, helping them in their transformation journey in the digital economy.
Marta leads IDC Internet of Things European Practice, advising customers on their IoT strategies, industry trends, channel and partner strategy, technology adoption and innovative business models. She also advises customers on the impact of the intersection of IoT with other technologies like AI and Blockchain.
In addition, Marta is leading IDC Europe’s latest Technology for Sustainability and Social Impact Practice, helping technology providers measure and maximise the impact of their own sustainability actions. Marta also helps organizations understand how technology can help achieve their own Sustainability Goals.
Marta is a confident communicator who thrives on encouraging and engaging her colleagues to achieve shared objectives. She is also an excellent public speaker, often presenting at multiple industry and customer events.
Miguel Cabrita
Miguel Cabrita nasceu em Lisboa, em 1976.
Sociólogo e docente universitário, licenciado pelo ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, onde leciona desde 2001, na Escola de Sociologia e Políticas Públicas, em áreas como as Políticas Públicas, Políticas Sociais e Teorias Sociológicas Contemporâneas.
Tem participado ao longo dos anos em projetos e publicações em diferentes domínios tanto de investigação como de avaliação de políticas públicas relacionados com estas matérias, da coesão social às questões do mercado de trabalho, conciliação entre trabalho e vida familiar, igualdade entre homens e mulheres, ou emprego e natalidade.
Exerceu funções de Adjunto do Secretário de Estado do Emprego e Formação e depois do Ministro do Trabalho e Solidariedade, Paulo Pedroso (2000-2002), e foi Adjunto do Ministro do Trabalho e Solidariedade Social (2005-2009), José António Vieira da Silva.
Assumiu a coordenação da área do Emprego e Assuntos Sociais da Presidência Portuguesa da União Europeia que teve lugar no segundo semestre de 2007.
Foi Presidente da Assembleia Municipal de Odivelas, eleito em 2013.
Foi Secretário de Estado do Emprego desde novembro de 2015 no XXI Governo Constitucional.
Filippo Battaini
Filippo Battaini is head of IDC Retail Insights Europe. Filippo leads retail digital transformation projects and works with retailers to inform their digitalization strategy and with technology providers to help to understand their market potential.
Filippo’s research is focused on the impact of the application of emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, augmented and virtual reality—on retail operations and business processes and how the digital transformation resulting from technology adoption is influencing and responding to consumer behavior dynamics.

Alessandro Chimera
Alessandro Chimera is a Director of Digitalization Strategy and Industry Consultant at TIBCO Software where he engages actively with manufacturers to address their industry-specific requirements on Industry 4.0. Alessandro works with global companies in various industries to help them leveraging the best technologies with the goal to succeed in their digital transformation and integration strategies. He publishes white papers, articles and blogs and speaks at industry events.
Alexandre Barbosa
Alexandre is Managing Partner of Faber, an early stage VC investing in founders of global software companies, with a specialty focus on B2B/ data-driven startups (early investors in Unbabel, Codacy, Seedrs, Hole19, Bugle or EnjoyHQ).
His previous experiences revolve around innovation and technology businesses as entrepreneur, investor and executive – he was co-founder and CEO of Innovagency Group, CEO of Atlântico & Blueticket and Associate at Oliver Wyman.

André Marques é AI & Data Science Lead na BI4ALL e conta com mais de 10 anos de experiência em Business Intelligence e Analytics. Formado em Matemática Aplicada e Mestre em Ciências da Computação, teve desde muito cedo o seu primeiro contacto com Advanced Analytics onde explorou a área de Data Science aplicada à área da Saúde durante o seu mestrado.
Ao longo dos anos, André tem trabalhado na área de Business Intelligence e Advanced Analytics, desenvolvendo diversos projetos para clientes de diferentes setores como Farmacêutico, Distribuição, Banca e Serviços Financeiros e Retalho. Bruno Horta Soares
Experiência profissional na indústria de serviços profissionais de assessoria, consultoria e auditoria, com especial relevância em projetos nos domínios da Transformação Digital Governance, Gestão, Risco e Segurança de Sistemas de Informação, tendo colaborado com os principais players de mercado em Portugal, Angola e Moçambique.

Fernando Bação
Fernando Bação é Subdirector da NOVA IMS, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, é também Director do Centro de Investigação MagIC e Director do Programa de Doutoramento em Gestão da Informação. É doutorado em Gestão da Informação e foi professor visitante do Instituto de Geoinformática da Universidade de Münster, Alemanha, e do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE), Brasil.

Fran Rodriguez
Fran Rodriguez, gerente de vendas de territórios da Qlik, tem mais de 15 anos de experiência em tecnologia. Economista de profissão, ele desenvolveu uma vasta experiência em projetos de Business Intelligence, ajudando a resolver problemas complexos de negócios com o uso estratégico de dados em empresas como Microestrategy, ClearPeaks e por quatro anos como chefe de território da Qlik em Portugal, Catalunha, Aragão, Baleares, Canárias e Andorra.
Fernando Miranda
Fernando Miranda desempenhou, durante oito anos, as funções de Enterprise Account Manager e Sales Manager na EMC Portugal no setor de grandes contas. Fernando Miranda passou também pela Compaq/HP, durante 11 anos, na qualidade de Enterprise Account Manager, Sales Specialist e Pre Sales Consultant para o mercado financeiro. A liderança da unidade de negócio de servidores standard x86 foi a sua função de maior destaque e duração nesta companhia.
Antes de ingressar na Compaq, em 2000, Fernando Miranda trabalhou durante 11 anos em vários integradores de sistemas do mercado nacional, desempenhando funções de serviços, gestão de projetos e coordenação de equipas técnicas.
Fernando Miranda estudou Engenharia Informática e especializou-se nas vertentes de Industry Standard Servers e em Storage Area Networks, onde detém várias certificações, além da experiência desenvolvida na área financeira.
No início de 2019, a Huawei Portugal reforçou a sua Direção Comercial através da contratação de Fernando Miranda, que assumiu as áreas de Utilities & Finantial Services da Huawei Enterprise Business Group. Esta contratação da Huawei surgiu com o objetivo de dinamizar e potenciar o crescimento do vasto portfólio de soluções e serviços integrados da Huawei na área corporate. Actualmente, Fernando Miranda é Director of Major Accounts no Enterprise Business Group da Huawei Portugal.

Com quase duas décadas de experiência em desenvolvimento de software, o novo Associate Diretor de Enterprise Application Integration, da Noesis, dedicou os últimos 8 anos à área de integração de sistemas e ao empreendedorismo.
Gianni Anguilletti
Gianni Anguilletti has more than 30 years of experience in business, marketing and organizational management.
He currently covers the role of Red Hat Vice President for the Mediterranean Region, which includes Italy, France, Iberia, Israel, Greece and Cyprus; in this position he is responsible for the implementation of corporate strategies at local level, overseeing an organization that helps thousands of customers at improving their competitiveness and operational agility.
Gianni joined Red Hat in 2006, after a number of successful sales and managerial experiences at Business Objects, Think3 Incorporated and PTC, where he covered roles such as Sales Director and Vice-President of Sales Operations and where he has consistently achieved significant results by setting up highly productive organizations and by establishing strong business and technological partnerships with prestigious customers and partners.
Before joining PTC he worked for other companies, taking part in several projects for the implementation of CA-X and Industrial Automation systems, in Italy as well as in other countries.
Giulio Raffaele
Giulio Raffaele leads IDC Retail Insights’ research on worldwide retail innovation strategies. He also contributes to research on worldwide retail customer experience and commerce strategies, as well as European retail digital transformation strategies. Along with the foundational international research activity, he leads and provides support for consulting projects for consumer companies, IT vendors, and consulting and system integrator companies, and contributes to IDC’s event organization and execution.
Raffaele has a wide range of experience across operations, sales, marketing, and IT, with a focus on ecommerce companies in tourism that enabled him to explore all aspects of online businesses.
He recently took part in a French ecommerce group, focusing on a sales role and working with global luxury hospitality companies. Previously, he worked for an ecommerce start-up dealing with luxury hospitality companies, helping them to sell their unsold room inventory. Gonçalo Caseiro é licenciado em Engenharia Informática e Computadores pelo Instituto Superior Técnico da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, tem uma pós-graduação em Business Intelligence e Gestão do Conhecimento no Instituto Superior de Estatística e Gestão de Informação da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Gonçalo Gaiolas
Gonçalo Gaiolas is Vice President of Product at OutSystems. In his role, Gonçalo oversees product and platform strategy as well as execution. Linda Chandler
As research director of Government Insights Europe, Linda Chandler leads a research team focused on government, smart cities, and education. In her role she offers strategic advice and guidance to both vendors and end-user clients. Her specialist areas are Smart Cities & Communities, Future of Work in Government and Smart Campus.
Chandler is an experienced technology leader with over 25 years’ experience of digital transformation focused on the public sector. Prior to IDC she was an independent smart cities advisor following 10 years at Microsoft leading on smart cities in the U.K. and Asia. Before Microsoft, she was a CIO in regional government for a body of the Mayor of London.

Lorenzo Veronesi
Lorenzo Veronesi is a Research Manager for IDC Manufacturing Insights EMEA.
In this role, Veronesi supports all the IDC MI research services for EMEA, by analyzing IT opportunities in multiple manufacturing industry sub-verticals, by writing quarterly industry updates and standardized reports based on annual surveys on manufacturing end-users. He is also often involved in consulting projects in EMEA for end-users, IT vendors and public authorities. Veronesi also actively contributes to the Worldwide Operations Technology research services and related consulting activities.
His research focus spans across key processes such as supply chain management, product lifecycle management and manufacturing operations management in multiple manufacturing verticals, including among others automotive, aerospace, machinery, high-tech, chemicals, CPG, and fashion.
Veronesi also handles the IT spending forecast models and IDC Manufacturing Insights’ Global Production Index data.
